Identiication in H 1 with Nonuniformly Spaced Frequency Response Measurements

چکیده
In this paper, the problem of \system identi cation in H 1 " is investigated in the case when the given frequency response data is not necessarily on a uniformly spaced grid of frequencies. A large class of robustly convergent identi cation algorithms are derived. A particular algorithm is further examined and explicit worst case error bounds (in the H 1 norm) are derived for both discrete-time and continuous-time systems. Examples are provided to illustrate the application of the algorithms.

Suboptimal Algorithms for Worst Case Identiication in H 1 and Model Validation
New algorithms based on convex programming are proposed for worst case system identiication. The algorithms are optimal within a factor of two asymptotically. Further, model validation, or data consistency is embedded in the identiication process. Explicit worst case identiication error bounds in H 1 norm are also derived for both uniformly and nonuniformly spaced frequency response samples.
متن کاملAn Eecient Frequency Domain State-space Identiication Algorithm: Robustness and Stochastic Analysis 33rd Cdc
In this paper we present a novel algorithm for identifying linear time-invariant discrete time state-space models from frequency response data. The algorithm is non-iterative and exactly recovers a true system of order n, if n + 2 noise-free uniformly spaced frequency response measurements are given. Analysis show that if the measurements are perturbed with errors upper bounded by the identiica...

In this paper we present a novel non-iterative algorithm for identifying linear time-invariant discrete time state-space models from frequency response data. We show that the algorithm recover the true system of order n if n +2 noise-free frequency response measurements are given at uniformly spaced frequencies. The algorithm is demonstrated to be related to the recent time-domain subspace iden...
متن کاملAngular Resolution Enhancement Provided by Nonuniformly-Spaced Linear Hydrophone Arrays in Ocean Acoustic Waveguide Remote Sensing
Uniformly-spaced apertures or subapertures of large, densely-sampled, discrete linear receiver arrays are often used in remote sensing to increase the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) by coherent beamforming that reduces noise coming from directions outside the signal beam. To avoid spatial aliasing or the presence of grating lobes in real spatial directions, the uniformly-spaced array inter-element...
متن کاملSignal Reconstruction from Nonuniformly Spaced Samples Using Evolutionary Slepian Transform-Based POCS
We consider the reconstruction of signals from nonuniformly spaced samples using a projection onto convex sets (POCSs) implemented with the evolutionary time-frequency transform. Signals of practical interest have finite time support and are nearly band-limited, and as such can be better represented by Slepian functions than by sinc functions. The evolutionary spectral theory provides a time-fr...
